CINEMA OF GRIEŽYNĖ
On the first day we will see all films about GRIEŽYNĖ, created by Lithuanian national TV
since the birth of the festival. On Saturday and Sunday there will be showed folklore
programs from Lithuania, Ireland, New Zealand, Latvia, Norway and other parts of the
world.
CONCERT OF FOLKLORE ENTHUSIASTIC FAMILIES
All enthusiasts of instrumental folk music are welcome to play together with their
families.
EXHIBITION "GRIEŽYNĖ IN THE COLORS OF FUJI"
GRIEŽYNĖ is happy to have three faithful friends who makes photos of it from it's first
steps. These friends are photographers Virgilijus Usinavičius, Vytautas Daraškevičius
ir Klaudijus Driskius. Fuji photomaterials let them to immortalize the most beautiful
moments of the festival.
EXHIBITION "LITHUANIAN FOLK FIDDLES"
"Griežynė" is one of the oldest popular name of fiddle, therefore we decided
to show you real Lithuanian "griežynė" and invite you to listen old "griežynė"
players Feliksas Baltrušaitis (Kaunas distr.), Jonas Danilevičius, Vladas Tamašauskas
(Molėtai distr.), Julius Ramanauskas, Algimantas Ramanauskas (Alytus distr.), Gintautas
Ivanauskas (Alytus).
